The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) Vice President Rajiv Shukla has made it clear that a bilateral cricket series between India and Pakistan is unlikely in the near future. BCCI’s Position on Bilateral Series

Rajiv Shukla stated that the BCCI follows the policy and directives of the Government of India when it comes to international cricket engagements. As per the current situation, hosting or participating in a bilateral series with Pakistan is not feasible without government approval. The BCCI Vice President further explained that India and Pakistan currently face each other only in ICC or multi-nation tournaments.
