A strong earthquake struck the Leh region of Ladakh on Monday morning, creating panic among local residents. The tremors were so intense that many people rushed out of their homes and offices in fear. The ground continued to shake for a few seconds, causing an atmosphere of anxiety across the area.

The earthquake measured 5.7 on the Richter scale, which is considered a moderate-intensity quake. Its epicenter was reported to be near the Leh region. Since the earthquake occurred deep underground, its tremors were felt across a wide area.

According to local residents, floors and walls suddenly began to shake in the morning. Fans, lights, and household items started swinging in many places. Some people also heard a low rumbling sound, which further increased their fear and forced them to move to safer locations.
