Gold Price Today: Fall in Prices Gets a Break — Check Today’s Rates in Your City (3 February)
After a period of decline, gold prices showed strength on Tuesday, 3 February, in the domestic futures market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), the gold futures contract expiring on 5 March 2026 opened at around ₹1,44,700 per 10 grams. In the previous session, gold had closed at approximately ₹1,41,669 per 10 grams. By 10:00 AM on Tuesday, MCX gold futures were trading at around ₹1,46,514 per 10 grams, up nearly ₹5,000 compared to the previous close. During early trading, prices rose to an intraday high of ₹1,49,518 per 10 grams.
Silver also saw gains. On MCX, silver futures expiring on 5 March 2026 were trading at about ₹2,53,409 per kilogram, up around ₹17,000 from the previous close. Early trading saw silver reach a high of ₹2,57,480 per kilogram.
