Team India Visits Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple Ahead of 5th T20 vs New Zealand

Ahead of the fifth and final T20 match between India and New Zealand, scheduled for 31st January (Saturday) at the Greenfield International Stadium in Thiruvananthapuram, the Indian cricket team visited the Sree Padmanabhaswamy Temple for blessings. Captain Suryakumar Yadav was also part of the temple visit.

The players were seen in traditional attire during the visit. The video from the temple shows spinner Varun Chakravarthy, captain Suryakumar Yadav, finisher Rinku Singh, chinaman spinner Kuldeep Yadav, spinner Ravi Bishnoi, all-rounder Axar Patel, and fielding coach T. Dilip participating in the temple visit.

After the Fourth T20 Loss, India Eyes Strong Finish

Team India had won the first three T20 matches held in Nagpur, Raipur, and Guwahati, securing a strong lead in the series. However, they lost the fourth T20 in Visakhapatnam by 50 runs. The team now aims to win the final match and finish the series 4-1.

This series serves as India’s last T20 preparation ahead of the upcoming T20 World Cup, making it crucial for the team to end on a high note and fine-tune their strategies.

Earlier ODI Series Defeat to New Zealand

Before the T20 series, India faced a defeat in the ODI series against New Zealand. The Kiwi team won the three-match series 2-1, despite India winning the opening match. New Zealand claimed victory in the remaining two matches to secure the series.
